Joey Jordison drum sound?

Hey guys im 15 and i've been playing drums for around 8 years now. I use a pearl export with ziljian a custom cymbals and aa sabian metal hi hats.On toms i use Remo Pinstripe on batter and remo ambassador on bottom. I really really love the joey jordison sound of his toms especially. Just wondering , does he have them all tuned really low or just really dampend. Could anybody give me some guidelines on what to do to help achieve this kind of sound without getting really expensive equipment.
Like how to tune top head , bottom head and how to dampen etc.

No one at his level "sucks balls" for the record. Yes part of it is a fairly low tuning and part is the depth of the toms and type of head. You are using a two ply batter head so that is best for the sound you're after. One of the frustrating things about drumming is that you can never get "that exact sound" you hear on a recording. Guitar players can use effects and the right guitar and amp to get almost any sound imaginable but drummers don't have that option unless they are triggering (like me!!). So much of the sound you hear live is due to the sound engineer. I suspect most guys at that level are also mixing a mic and a trigger to get an entirely different sound than their acoustic drums produce by themselves. A few years back I bit the bullet and bought ddrum triggers and a ddrum AT brain. It was the best money I ever spent. I can get any drum sound I want, add my own reverb, decay, etc. and never have to deal with tuning drums again except for the snare, I don't trigger it. The ddrum triggers are awesome, I have never had a false trigger and the dynamics are incredible.
