If a manga artist gets an anime from his/her series?

I read a couple of times that mangakas become busier when their manga is turned into an anime. what exactly do they do? like more drawings, posters, maybe the opening songs?

Well when people say that the mangaka gets busier it just means that the series gets more popular.
Since the anime director does most of the work like voice work, art, opening, etc, the mangaka actually doesnt really have to do much except check over and approve the works the anime director did.
Sometimes the mangaka will draw stuff like posters. As for opening songs, the mangaka doesnt really do much on it but sometimes, the mangaka can choose the voice actor of his/her choice.
