Can I be a songwriter or even publish my own cd without being a good singer?

I love music and I can play many instruments, some are bongo, conga, classical guitar, piano, trumpet, cello, electric drum set and some other strange Hand Percussion instruments, but I cannot sing very well at all. I have a very very limited range. However I dream of making my own CD or being a songwriter, is this possible at all? Is it okay to make a cd album with vocals that have limited range but that are still good? There is one band called Ladytron that has great music but very simple vocals but still I do not know whether I can pull it off. I am not looking to become famous anyway either. Thank you for your opinions and sorry for my English I am French lol

Well of course it is possible. Moreover, being a songwriter does not requires that you sing. You could do it, but, why don't you consider having somebody else singing your songs if you think you are "limited"?
