My LG TROMM electric Dryer doesn't dry my clothes?

I have a LG TROM electric dryer thats not drying my cloths. I disconnected the vent and tryed dryng that way but same result. Also no lint in trap, not using dryer sheets. Plus I have tried the custom dry, but same results. CAN SOMEONE WITH THE SAME PROBLEM THAT FOUND OUT WHAT IT IS PLEASE HELP ME!!!

When you disconnected the vent did warm air come out of it with the dryer running? If not, the heating element or its control is bad. The control probably has two parts, a circuit board and a relay.

If it is new enough to be under warranty, call for service.

Failing that, find the label plate on the dryer with the model number of the dryer and call an appliance parts store to get prices for these parts. Be sitting down when you make the call. Appliance parts seem to be priced to make the repair or replace decision difficult. Decide if you want to spend that much for one of these parts alone for this machine.

If you are mechanically inclined, you might try to take the dryer apart to figure out which one of these it is. It will be a help to know how to use a multimeter to measure voltages and resistances to determine what is bad.
