What can you tell me about... Sound Percussion Double Bass Drum Pedal with Drop Clutch?

I don't know much about double bass pedals and someone wants to sell me these for $40.00. They are missing the tension rods for the drive shaft. Is that good or bad and how much to fix?

Don't waste your money. Those pedals are low quality units to begin with, and you may or may not be able to find the missing parts to make repairs with. Save your money until you can get the pedals you WANT instead of just buying the pedals you can AFFORD.

And by the way, a drop clutch has nothing to do with bass drum pedals. It's a gizmo that goes on the hi-hat, replacing the standard clutch that holds the Top Cymbal.
