The ark of God was placed on a new cart and taken away from the house of Abinadab on the hill. They're Going to say that he disobeyed God's command not to touch the ark, and that he didn't show faith in God - God would have taken care of the problem himself, he didn't need Uzzah's help. And, even had the ark fallen, it would have been God's will that it do so.

This is a perverse religion is it not? This inanimate object (the ark) is worth more than a person -even a faithful, good intentioned person.
