Need to know if these materials are Eco-friendly?

Is Alabastrite, MDF, Polyresin, Mango Wood Eco-friendly materials. I'm trying to buy eco-friendly items for the home. I know bamboo, certain baskets, hemp are eco-friendly. But, I'm starting to get confused what is eco-friendly. Please help me?

One way to look at it is, If God made it then it is eco friendly, I would guess that eco friendly matters when if it affects your health or your environment, Poly-resin doesn't break down in a land fill nor would you want to burn it, but as long as you are using it and you like it, then it is eco friendly. I guess to be truly eco friendly we could live like cavemen. But that's not likely, The more waste we generate the more damage we do to the environment, and some things can be re-use or recycled so many times before it goes to waste. Some things can be composted in time. Metals can be re-used, plastics get a black eye but are very recyclable, your local transit or city dump can take back harsh chemicals, So i guess it is up to you as to what is eco-friendly. Do you have control over the product until it meets it's end, That is,can it go some where with out polluting the land, air or water. Not as easy of a question to answer. You seem to have a good conscience attitude and that is the hardest nut to crack nowadays.
