Chakra meditation to increase psychic ability?

How do i meditate on my chakras? can i make them stronger? How can Chakra meditation further psychic ability? how are your chakras connected to psychic abilities?

First of all the exercise...

Keeping the bodies store if energy at peak levels is an important part of magical or psychic work. This exercise is best done when one has an extended period when they will remain uninterrupted. Begin with about ten minutes and extend the time period five minutes every two weeks until the exercise takes from thirty minutes to an hour. The exercise should be done at least once a day, twice if possible; most easily manageable is first thing in the morning or last thing at night, or both.

Each chakra has a resonant color to use

Root - red
Spleen - orange
Solar plexus - yellow
Heart - green
Throat - blue
Third eye - indigo
Crown - violet

Lie on your back. Be certain that you wear no clothing that is tight or binding, or, preferably none at all. Remain still... focus on the root chakra...feel the power grow and begin to swirl like a pinwheel of flame...when the chakra is pulsing as though it could burst, draw the power up and focus on the second chakra...repeat the process until all the chakras are filled with pulsing, flaming energy...feel the energy pulsing in all the chakras...remain there and let the energy circulate for a time...end the session by simply tensing the muscles of the body and moving.
