can an electric guitar tuner be used to tune drums?

I have a korg guitar tuner and it can be set to bass or guitar but I dont know what to set it for. Im also a fan of tool and I read that danny tunes to D A and F but on what drums? rack toms? I have a 6 piece pearl export 3 rack toms and a huge floor tom. Im guessing from left to right tune F A and D on the rack toms but I am a newbie.

If your tuner has an audiable setting, where it produces the tune through its internal speaker, turn that on and try to tune it to that. If it doesn't, that's a lot more difficult to do since the drum wave form is a short wave where the tuner needs a continues wave to tune it.
