Hi i have a snare from a drumset and i'm trying to put a new wire on it but i can't figure it out.please help!

Its a coda brand Snare Drum,14in with a lever you pull toward you instead of to the side to release the snare. i'm using those plastic straps to attach it rather than string or twine.

1. You take those clear plastic straps and slip it through the Drum Hoops...there should be 2 holes on both end of the Drum Hoop.

2. You slip on those strings or clear plastic straps on through your Drum Hoops. Use your Drum Key to tighten both lugs on the locking bolt on your bottom drum hoop. Thats where those plastic straps go through.

3. Then you take the other end of your Snare Wire and run it through your "Throw -Off" Strainer. Use your Drum Key to tighten that end too. But not too tight...you want to have enough room so you can twist the "Throw Off" Strainer knob to loosen the Snare Wires after you're put it on there.

4. That should do it.
