Pearl Protone snare strainer problems?

My snare strainer or whatever it is I used to turn the snare on and off is loose and idk how to fix it.

Like my snare is now permanently off because of this please helps.
like the switch for the snare is like loose its like permanently off

I've been a drummer for two years now, but i don't really know every technical terms for the snare drums. But, your Snare Drum may have a plastic or felt strap on either side of the strainer. It's probably loose. So, flick the switch to turn off your snare. And then you should be able to use your Drum Key to open this like.. bar that's holding the plastic strap in place. Then, loosen that bar and pull the strainer closer to your bottom drum head, (but leave some slack!) Then using your drum key tighten that bar, holding your coils in place. Then when you close the switch (turning your snare on) you can check if it's tight enough. Now, I'm not entirely familiar with your snare drum. But, on my pearl snare there's this.. circle shaped thing (-_- i suck) and if you tighten it, it slightly tightens the coils. This should help your problem.
