Zildjian Cymbal Packs

Can someone please help me?

So, I keep hearing from everyone that oh, you should go try out the cymbals before you buy them. However, I really don't know which cymbals to try, and for how much. I also keep hearing, don't get the low end cymbals, but get intermediate and professional ones, and save up for those. However, I am sort of new to drumming and I've gone about 6 months with some no name cymbals that sound like crap, and a Sabian B8Pro that's cracked. I sort of wanna get Zildjian's, but everyone says how bad they are. My price range goes all the way up to $200- $250, and I'm not sure what to aim for. Should I try everything out? Because, I want to get a deal, and good sounding cymbals for my money. And please don't say that I need to buy better cymbals, believe me, this is pretty much the only option! Thx! And I would want to buy a cymbal pack, with at least a ride, crash, and hi-hats
